Sejal is a cinematographer based in Bombay. Her journey into image making started from her early teens when she began photographing life around her in Jaipur. She went on to study photography at the Tisch School of Arts (BFA 2015) and eventually, cinematography at the Film and Television Institute of India (Post Graduate Diploma 2023).
In the last 7 years she has worked on feature films, web-series and commercials in various positions from AC to 2nd unit cinematographer, alongside shooting short films, documentaries and music videos as an independent cinematographer.
Sejal has always been interested in capturing life intimately, aspiring to evoke emotion. With her interest in other forms of visual arts including painting, collage and graphic art, she seeks to take inspiration from different media, seeking to work towards new perspectives of storytelling.
